  16. i just got a look at my *first* 4x5 transparency made from
  17. a Lightwave file-it looks great ! (IMHO :-)
  18. this may seem obvious, but there is NO comparison
  19. between looking at your images on a monitor and
  20. seeing a crisp transparency, esp. when the image
  21. is rendered at Print resolution. Lightwave really
  22. renders imagemaps beautifully-i'm very glad i wend
  23. with all 24bit imagemaps-

  25. I rendered at print resolution, medium antialiasing,(i couldn't
  26. wait for the high antialiasing :-( ) threshold 16,
  27. I rendered one file with a dither setting per the manual suggestion,
  28. and one with soft filter-i'll see if there is a difference in
  29. output...

  31. thanks to all who helped out with my aspect ratio problem-
  32. scaling at either 115 H or 85% V was the consensus for future reference.
  33. I actually re-rendered one image using the square pixel setting, so
  34. i will see how that one came out too.
